Light Paintings
Light paintings are creative and a blast to make. They can easily be created with a few different techniques. Long exposures, with some light moving in front of the camera or camera movement in front of the lights and presto! You have a light painting. I mainly use available lights and move my camera in front of the lights with exposures around three to twenty seconds. Streets lights, stop lights, theatre lights, any kind of lights in dark environments are wonderful tools for this kind of photography.
