My first memory of watching lightning strikes takes me back to my parents bedroom late one night. My sister and I woke up frightened by a severe thunderstorm passing over our home in Winston Salem, NC. For the next hour or so the four of us huddled on their bed by the window as we watched lightning striking through the night sky.
For the past twelve years I have been photographing lightning strikes, one of mother natures deadliest forces. A lightning strike makes an electrifying and powerful image.
